VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Nail Technology

The VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Nail Technology Studies (QCF) is a technical level qualification that provides learners with the knowledge, understanding and skills to work as a nail technician. This qualification is based on National Occupational Standards (NOS). This qualification is recognised by the UK’s largest beauty therapy/nail services trade body/professional association, The Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) and also the UK’s second largest association representing beauty therapy/nail services employers; the British Association of Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology (BABTAC) as being fit for purpose for preparing learners for a career as a nail technician.

The content of this qualification is comprised of all the required elements to work effectively as a nail technician including health and safety, client care and communication, applying and maintaining nail enhancements using either ultra-violet gel or liquid and powder, nail art using both manual and airbrush techniques, electric filing techniques, how to promote products and services and business and teamwork skills. All units in this qualification are mandatory.

  • Course 1 – Start date 21/02/19 Thursdays and Fridays 10 weeks
  • Course 2 – Start date 23/02/19 Saturdays and Sundays 10 weeks

Funding Through The Advanced Learner Loan available!!!

Your course fees for this 10 – 12 week programme can be paid for via the advanced learning loan provided by the Student Loan Company. This is a government backed loan scheme to fund the course fees for adult learners who wish to gain new skills. You will only have to make repayments when you start earning more than £25,000pa and your payments are taken through the tax system so you don’t have to worry about missing a payment or not being able to afford repayments.

The rate of repayment is 9% of any earnings above £25,000pa. The first £25,000 of earnings is all yours. After that you will pay approximately £7.50 per month for each £1,000 above £25,000 that you earn.
